Join me as I explore the financial side of biotech

Hello friends,

You’re all invited to an educational course this Friday at 12pm pacific time. I’ll be discussing the financial aspects of bringing a new medicine into the world.

If finance is not your thing… not to worry as I’ll be speaking at a high level, providing a broad overview of the subject and approaching the topic from a scientist’s perspective.

The course is free, just sign up below to receive a zoom webinar link.

The course is hosted by Caring Cross. Caring Cross is a non-profit focused on bringing cell and gene therapies into low/middle income nations. I’ve been working with Caring Cross for the past two years. They are an inspiring and very smart group of people. Signing up with them is free and grants you access to all of their educational presentations.

This Friday, I’ll be discussing the costs associated with drug discovery and clinical trials. I’ll also highlight the main sources of money that flow into R&D budgets.

We will grapple with the conundrum that is Eroom’s Law. In other words…. why do we keep spending more money to create the same number of drugs?

See you there!

– Kevin Curran
